Many of the most effective teachers are also very effective students who seize opportunities to read and learn about educational ideas and tools for the good of their students and classrooms. An advantage in the field of education is that, within the classroom, teaching and learning occurs daily for both students and instructors. The classroom's nature as a living laboratory enables teachers, mentors, and coaches to build communities in which they share ideas and network with each other. Within such a community, members can exchange best practices, solutions, and resources to improve classroom environments and learning outcomes for their students.
